It has come to our attention that another waste company is currently contacting some of our customers and agencies while presenting themselves as, or implying they are, Holiday Home Waste Collection. In some cases they are requesting further information, discussing pricing changes, or attempting to obtain customer details.
Please note that this is not us.
The company appears to be operating in the Roseland, Scorrier, Penzance, Liskeard, Looe and Newquay areas, and they are contacting people using mobile numbers and email addresses. Holiday Home Waste Collection Ltd has not authorised anyone to contact you on our behalf, nor have we shared any client or agency details with third parties.
If you receive any communication from someone claiming to be us and you are unsure, please ignore the contact and feel free to check with us directly.
For clarity:
Holiday Home Waste Collection Ltd remains the same business.
Nothing has changed within our company.
We will only contact you directly when your contract is due to expire, or if there are genuine pricing updates or new service options.
As always, we ensure that all customers are informed of any price changes in advance, as we did before the start of this year.
This situation has unfortunately happened before. On this occasion we have taken the matter further with solicitors to prevent any company from misrepresenting themselves as our business.
We have always welcomed healthy competition—there are plenty of holiday homes across Cornwall for many companies to operate successfully. However, we cannot allow another company to pretend to be Holiday Home Waste Collection Ltd or use our name to obtain customers.
If anyone has been contacted by this company, or has received emails or calls that appear suspicious, we would be very grateful if you could forward the details to us so we can address this through the appropriate channels.
