The government’s decision to list people working in waste and recycling as “key workers” in the wake of the coronavirus crisis has been welcomed within Our sector this past week.
“We were pleased that the government acknowledged the essential role of recycling and waste operatives during the COVID-19 pandemic, it has enabled us this week, in actively clearing all waste from holiday homes throughout Cornwall in the wake of the decision that all holidays had to be cancelled and people who were on holiday had to go home." We are working hard to make sure that no waste is left anywhere at houses, pubs and restaurants to keep our surroundings as clean as possible.
From April the 1st we have decided to temporarily close so will not be doing our normal daily collections, but have decided that we will remain on call for anyone who needs waste removed please call our office, which remains open Monday - Friday 9am til 5pm or our work mobile ( 07814 934978) and we will come straight out and remove all waste.
We are also offering our services FREE to anyone who is isolated and cannot put their waste out and needs help with clearance.
